Our wheatgrass is grown using organic hard winter wheat berries and organic soil based compost. We grow our wheatgrass in a greenhouse and maximise exposure to natural daylight. We aim to bring awareness of the benefits associated with a nutritional healthy option.
Wheatgrass is the sprouted portion of the wheat plant. Unlike wheat, wheatgrass is gluten-free and, as its name denotes, resembles grass. Grown and harvested at 7-11 days old and juiced into 30ml “shots”. The juice from freshly pressed / frozen wheatgrass is best consumed immediately after extraction. Since Wheatgrass contains Chlorophyll, there is reason to believe that wheatgrass exerts some of the same benefits as Chlorophyll such as anti-carcinogenic actions
